Today, I am reminded how small I am compared to God. And how amazing He truly is. I find that I take for granted, and don't think about, or thank God enough for how incredible He is. I am so small and insignificant to Him. I can't even think about comparing myself to Him. Because words can't describe it. For me, it's the mountains and the stars that constantly remind me of God's greatness.
Take a minute to go outside, sit on the patio, lay on your bed, go wherever you need to go, and remember how amazing God is; thank Him for it, thank Him for loving you even though you are so small compared to the vast world.

Only In Mexico
As I adapt more and more to the culture and the way of life in Mexico, some things that were once really weird when I came here, seem normal now. But every once in a while I see something and I think 'only in Mexico...'
Okay, so maybe some of these things happen in other countries too...but they're still funny and not usually known as "normal"
ONLY IN MEXICO...
Okay, so maybe some of these things happen in other countries too...but they're still funny and not usually known as "normal"
ONLY IN MEXICO...
- do you stop at an intersection, you look to your right, a car is approaching, you look to the left, cow in the street.
- can four people ride on a one person moped. mother, father, and two kids. and it's probably their only "car".
- can you be sitting on the couch, doing absolutely nothing, and be sompletely drenched in sweat. at 10am.
- everything shuts down from 2-4. so people can go home to take a shower, and eat.
- almost every candy has chili powder in it.
- do you go to a mexican restaurant and they don't serve you chips and salsa as you look over the menu.
- does a six year old know how to play better soccer than me.
- staring at people isn't rude.
- there's "tiendas" (little stores) every few houses.
- do you wake up at 9 am on Saturday mornings by someone driving down the road with a loud speaker on the roof of their car selling cucumbers for 10 pesos a kilo.
- do they think that if you have a cold, or a cough, and you drink or eat anything cold, you'll get even more sick.
Well, that's the beginning of the list anyways...
